Final Opportunity to Support Speed Mitigation Devices

Westwood Community 3 Residents and Non-Resident Property Owners,

This is the final round of efforts to gather signatures in support of speed mitigation devices throughout our community.

If you have not already signed, please attend the Community Board Meeting on July 13 at 6:30 p.m. to meet with Laura and sign the petition for your neighborhood. Please encourage your neighbors to attend and sign as well. Homeowners will be in the community Sunday, for final requests.

Non-resident property owners may request a form by emailing westwoodcommunity3@gmail.com. A form will be emailed to you so you can sign in support.

Current signature needs by area:

Homes within the entrances of NW 74th Court and NW 73rd Street: 45 additional signatures needed
Homes within the entrance of NW 72nd Street: 6 additional signatures needed
Homes within the entrances of NW 97th Avenue and NW 98th Terrace: 5 additional signatures needed
Homes within the entrance of NW 99th Avenue: 11 additional signatures needed

If your area does not receive enough signatures, the City will not consider that section of the community for speed mitigation devices.

Beautification Project

Common Areas

We’ve begun enhancing the community’s common areas—an initiative strongly supported in last year’s feedback survey. The first phase was made possible through a beautification matching grant from the City of Tamarac, enabling the addition of privacy landscaping around the pool area and completion of the Tamarac sign planting space.

Next steps will be the clubhouse frontage.
